Dear Jimmy, Sandra and family,
On behalf of the Feraday family, we offer you all our sincerest condolences for the loss of your Mother (and Grandma). Barbra was a wonderful and strong woman with a heart of gold. She was a loving and giving persona to her family, friends and community. She was well know for her amazing baking, jams, pickles and beautiful garden vegetables (most delicious tomatoes this side of Odessa!)
I will miss her bashful smile, kind words, sincere concern of others and warm hugs. I will especially miss her gentle handshake and soft peck on the cheek at Sunday Service when we wished each other “The Peace of Christ”.
Rest In Peace Barbra Reid, Straton has been long awaiting... until we meet again. Sincerely Marie & Ray Feraday & Families xoxo

I am so sorry to hear that Barb is gone. I was just getting to know her and liked her very much. She was a very strong woman with a big heart. I enjoyed our conversations and listening to her stories.
There was something very special about this lady.

Jimmy and family: So sorry to hear about Barbara. She was a very kind and caring person. She always made sure we knew when the dinners at the school were so we could attend. She told our guys her door was always open if they got stranded at night. She will be missed by so many. She will be with you everyday and in our hearts as well.

I see you Barb at your table at the market. I always tried to buy your buns before they sold out. I just finished the dill pickles I bought from you and I will treasure what corn relish I have left knowing I can't get anymore from you. Thanks Barb for making a difference in my life and my heart goes out to your family and friends for their loss.

Our deepest sympathy to Jim, Sandra, Brooke and Brandon, as well as Barbara’s sisters, on her passing. This has been a shock to us all. I would always say to her “Barb, you’re such an inspiration to us, you can do more with one leg than most people can do with two.” We will miss her at church, the market, euchre, Harvestfest, and much more. There is a hole in our community. We will miss you deeply Barb. Love Wayne and Karen

Barbara was a good friend. We teased each other every time we met. And we met often - at her house, in her church, at the market, at public events, on the road. She came from the mainland to marry Stratton and became one of the special people of Amherst Island. She was a character who will be missed. Nancy and I send our condolences to Jim and Sandra and family.
