Our condolences on Gary's passing. We knew Gary when he was living in Chesley. One of the best Dentists I've had. We have many fond memories, like him reading the Night before Christmas to a houseful of children at his Christmas party. Let's not forget the time he took my (shepherd hook) earring and threaded it through his nose ! Even though he and Susie moved to Moose Factory, we still kept in touch and we would look forward to his Christmas letters to catch up on their yearly goings on. Cherish the happy times, we will remember him fondly.

Was lucky to have gotten to know Gary, thru Ann and have fond memories of those times we spent together at the cottage and house, including their wedding and his swim in the lake to celebrate. Will miss him dearly and remember him fondly. He was one of the nicest, hardest working, men I've ever met and don't think I ever saw him without a smile on. Love and deepest condolences to Ann, Tucker, Gary's family & friends.

Gary was very special to my family, he taught us all how to laugh and to smother hamburgers with peanut butter!
We will miss his spirit and laughter dearly, it was an absolute pleasure getting to know, and love him. May he rest in peace now, sending prayers and hugs from the Bannerman Family.

I am saddened to learn of the passing of Gary and send my heartfelt condolences and support to his wife and family. Gary and his family played an important part in my life during my late teens. He was a great boyfriend and, even though our lives took different paths, I shall always remember him as being kind and caring. The Jackson/Stewart clan were always warm and welcoming to me.
Gary always wanted to do something positive with his life, and I know from his work in Moose Factory and the far North, he accomplished this goal. Rest In Peace, dear friend.

I worked with Gary for over 20 years in Moose Factory in the dental department. I still remember the day he walked into WGH to run the program...he was all smiles and so friendly. He because my boss, friend, father figure and greatest supporter. Everyone loved him...he would tell his patients ‘my name is Gary but you can call me baldy’ He always told me that I would run the program after he semi-retired and I did for ten years only because of all he taught me over the years. He was definitely one of kind and will truly be missed. My condolences to Ann, his family, friends and of course Tucker❤️

Words cannot express how saddened we are. We will miss Gary, his sense of humour, kindness, and the many stories about his adventures in life. Dave will cherish his childhood memories of Gary, he was a very special cousin and friend. We both have wonderful memories of time spent with Gary and Ann, especially the beautiful wedding ceremony at their cottage. It's difficult to lose someone so special. Our thoughts and love are with Ann and the family.

I have the great honour and privilege of being Gary's sister
As a read the many letters and expressions from all of you, it is a source of great comfort and joy. Thank you.
Gary always valued his family, extended family and friends. He brought so much happiness and light into so many lives and yes, put the smile (with wonderful teeth) in so many faces. A gentle giant with a heart as big as the world. I shall miss him greatly but take comfort in knowing he now rests in the arms of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus. God bless you all and thank you for being a part of my brother's life. Gail

He will be missed. He was a great mentor and I enjoyed my time I had with him while I was there in Moosefactory. He changed my life and gave me the opportunity to learn and be better in my field. At the same time I learnt compassion and patience. Goodbye Gary, and Rest In Peace.

We spent many many nights sitting around the campfire in moose factory with Gary, but my favourite memory was a letter he wrote to the tooth fairy . He pulled an infected tooth out of my very fearful 7 year old. Jonathon was also worried that since the tooth did not fall out naturally the tooth fairy would not come. Gary convinced him that not only would she come , but a letter from him would up the value of the tooth. Cost us 20$ but the kindness, patience and creative problem solving overcame a significant hurtle for our wee boy. That was the Gary we knew, always the extra mile. We are so sorry for his loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. Jonathon still has that letter to the tooth fairy .
