Obituary of Dennis Jamie Allan

Dennis passed away peacefully at Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KGH) following a brief illness, on Sunday, February 17, 2019, at age 55. Beloved husband and best friend of Janet “Jenny” (nee Turney). Loving father of Jamie (Tim), Cory, Richard (Andrea) and Mark and caring grandfather of Connor, Theo, Max, Athena, Sierra, Gary, Carter, Sydney, Shelby and Paula. Survived by his mother Betty Davis (Richard) and stepmom Pat Allan. Predeceased by his father Richard Allan and by his mother and father-in-law Marion and Ronald Turney. Dear brother of Tammy Allan (Randy), Tanya Coates (Paul), Amy Banks (Eddie), Ronald Allan (Tonia) and Ken Vankougnett (Angie). Fondly remembered by his many sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda Asselstine, Barb Amey (Les), Leanne Langille (Rick), Sandy Leggo (Peter), Cathy Hoekstra (Wayne), Debbie Sparks (Chris), Ron Turney (Lydia), Donnie Turney (Janice), Maureen Thompson (Kevin), Stephen Turney and Greg Turney (Elizabeth) and by many nieces and nephews and their families, former daughter-in-law Chris, many aunts and uncles, cousins and good friends, Burt Powell and Dave Hodgson. Special thanks to the Newburgh Clinic – Dr. Kate Koester, Christine and Sherry, and to all the Doctors and nurses at KGH who took such wonderful care of Dennis. Cremation has taken place.
