Obituary of Gerald Laverne Rose

Passed away peacefully, at Friendly Manor Nursing Home in Deseronto on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at age 98. Beloved husband of the late Grace (nee Menor) for 77 wonderful years. Loving father of Wayne Rose (Connie Payne) of Enterprise and the late Shirley Rose. Very proud grandfather of Sarah, Emily, Samantha, Kirk, Petra and Brent and a cherished great grandfather. Dear brother of Don Rose (Mary) and brother-in-law of Patricia Rose. Predeceased by his sister Nathella Gilbert and by his brothers, Vernon and Clayton Rose. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Paul G. Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373) on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. Service in the Funeral Home on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 11 a.m. Interment Morven Cemetery.
