Carl passed away peacefully at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KGH) on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Betty (nee McKeown) for 60 years. Loving father of Michael Snider of Kingston and Dianne Heximer (Scott) of Vaughan and very proud grandfather of Shawn and Ethan. Survived by his sisters Carolyn Akey (late Reg) of Odessa and Doris Smith (late Jack) of Kingston and by sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary-Jane and Tony Apcar of Victoria, B.C., and Paul and Jennifer McKeown of Mission, B.C. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and their families. The family will receive friends at the Paul G. Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main Street, Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 1 – 2 p.m. Memorial Service will follow at 2 p.m. Interment Morven Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Emmanuel United Church would be appreciated by the family.
