Obituary of Richard Arthur Giddy

Suddenly at home in Sydenham on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at age 70. Predeceased by his loving daughter Kerry Lee-Ann Giddy. Beloved son of Hilda and the late Glen Giddy. Cherished and proud grandfather of Kaitlyn, Phillip (Sarah), Conner (Laura) and Angeline De Sousa and great grandfather of Kiley. Dear brother of David Giddy (late Martha), Karen Ellerbeck (Bill), Peter Giddy (Janet), Cindy Giddy and Terry Giddy (Paula). Predeceased by his brother Glen Giddy (Carol) and by his sisters Susan Coombs (Richard) and Debbie Giddy. Fondly remembered by his dear friend Linda Wright and by many nieces and nephews and their families. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life for Richard will be held at the Sydenham Legion Br. #496, 4361 Amelia St., Sydenham on Saturday, August 10th from 2-6 p.m. Memorial donations to the Kingston Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
