Obituary of Muriel G. Thorne (nee McFarland)

Peacefully at her home in Napanee on Friday, July 12, 2019, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of Ken Thorne and loving mother of Paul King (Susan) and Andrew King and step-mother of Tracy Jordan, Trudy Hunter (John Bacopulos) and Tina Reid. Cherished grandmother of Steacy Walker (Mark) and Tyler King and step-grandmother of Pat, Matthew, Jessica, Michael, Kate, Brittany, Dillon, David, Adam, Jordan, Sarah and the late Zachary. Extremely proud great grandmother of Noah, Orion, Ryder, Hunter and Kasper. Survived by her brother Norman McFarland (Elsie) and predeceased by her sisters Marion Thompson and May Davis and by her brothers Harold, George, Edward, Manley and Morley McFarland.  Muriel will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends. A private Family Graveside Service will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Napanee.
