Obituary of Hilda E. Giddy (nee Babcock)

Peacefully at Extendicare with her loving family by her side on Friday, July 12, 2019, at age 93. Beloved wife of the late Glen Giddy. Dear mother of David Giddy (late Martha), Karen Ellerbeck (Bill), Peter Giddy (Janet), Cindy Giddy and Terry Giddy (Paula). Predeceased by her sons Glen Giddy (Carol) and Richard Giddy and by her daughters Susan Coombs (Richard) and Debbie Giddy. Sadly missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survived by her sister Maudie Douglas and predeceased by her brothers Gerald and Bill Babcock. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Paul G. Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa (613-386-7373) on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 11 -1 p.m. A Graveside Service will follow at Wilton Cemetery.
