Obituary of Martti Myllykangas

With his loving family at his side, Martti passed away peacefully at Arbour Heights in Kingston, Ontario on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at age 93. Beloved husband of the late Rauha (Mantynen). Cherished father of Mauri  Myllykangas (Sue), Hely Keen (Ken), Eila Peltomaki-Kelley (Michael) and Leena Philip (Bernie). Predeceased by his daughters Marja Liisa Poulin and Eira Podolski. Loving grandfather of Karey, Jeffrey, Brendon, Andrew, Kevin, Ryan, Darren, Landon, Leah, Tristyn, Sheldon, Bradley, Ian and Kaitlyn and dearly missed by many great grandchildren. Survived by his sister Sisko Tolkki of Finland and fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and their families. Martti will always be remembered as a kind, gentle and generous soul.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date. For those desiring, memorial donations to a charity of choice will be remembered with appreciation by the family.
