Dennis was an amazing man who loved his family more than words can describe. He was a hard worker, funny and loved life to the fullest. His family will miss him, but he is in a place where love is all around. Rest In Peace, Dennis.

Dear Dad,
So many kind wonderful words expressed about what a wonderful man you are! I see how much you touched everyone in a special way. Whether its a neighbor across the street teasing about hockey season, a brother that tell silly stories back and forth. Many funny stories i have heard over the many phones calls you would make to your brothers and sisters, and cousins. My cousins would say "crazy uncle Dennis" The bond you had was truly amazing. So rare these days to find people that truly have compassion. We had so much fun together. Going camping together as a family, driving to New Brunswick and we would stop to get a bite to eat! And you would cook up Military rations, and boil them up and we would have that. I was amazed as a kid what you got when you where a supply technician. It was cool all the neat things we would get to use. Most of all what I am most proud of is you serving 20 years in the Military and going to Somalia on a peacekeeping mission. You and Mom wrote letters back and forth, wich you kept. Be cool to read them someday if Mom lets me lol. You make me so proud! I honor you so much for joining the Military and giving us a future. Im going to miss your Santa hat at Christmas. You dressed up all in TML attire and had your TML santa hat on lol..you just always tried to make me and Derek and Mom laugh. Our neighbour just think you where the silliest lol. And helpful to do anything for them. You where a hero to many! Most of all a hero to me! I miss your scruffy beard, you would rub it on my face and it would always make my face red haha. Im going to miss your belly dances! I just overall miss my Daddy. I was Daddys girl, and we just did so much together. When you where sick, you and I donated to the refugee's and even tho you where weak you still got up in that truck and helped. You stubbornness has surley rubbed off on me. And its a great asset to have from a great man like you. Mom and Derek and myself will be okay. We have a great family and we will carry on our traditions. Expesually making your yummy spaghetti and lasagna! And dressing up the xmas tree all TML haha and ofcourse the elf on the shelf..you had so much fun, it made you laugh! Thank you Dad for being my number #1 Dad, Poopa, The Dad, Daddo, Daddy, Homer, Pops. Ever xoxo

I served with “Hutch” in the Signals Regiment in 1992/1993. We were fellow supply guys who exercised all over Ontario and parts of Quebec. Our reward was a sudden deployment to Somalia on 1st Jan 1993. Hutch was amazing during that time, trustworthy, supportive and always willing to help in extreme conditions. We would meet up in Kingston, every few years and share stories. His truck driving tales were entertaining. You are remembered and will be missed.

Our heartfelt condolences to Carol, Kerr-Ann, Derek and Tyler. Dennis was one of a kind and will be greatly missed. As hockey season is around the corner we will remember him fondly and miss the teasing back and forth across the street over who’s team was better.
Our love to all of you.

My deepest condolences to Carol, Kerri-Ann, Derek and My Aunt Joan, Thelma, George, Cheryl, Kelvin & Andrew. Dennis was a very special person, would do anything for anybody. I have the best memories of growing up together on Bishop Street. I have always had and will continue to have a special place in my heart for Dennis. He taught me many things including how to double clutch a Pinto (his car, not mine). He was the best and will be missed by so many. Heaven has a new Angel. Rest in Peace Dennis. Much Love, Lynda
