Deepest sympathies to the Chadwick family. Michele was my best friend growing up in Kanata. Your mom was always warm and welcoming. Courageous too - remember that litter of puppies! That courageous spirit likely helped her be so gracious in the last years despite physical difficulties. Take comfort in knowing she is now with full voice, even fuller mobility, and heart full to overflowing with the love of our Saviour. I believe we will meet again, perhaps even with puppies! Vern and Kathy Amunds posted a condolence

Please extend our regretful condolences to Bob Chadwick, husband of Wilma Chadwick (nee Newton), and their family members,
from Laverne Amunds (maternal cousin) and wife Kathleen Amunds in Deep River, Ontario.
It was with the fondess of rememberances of Wilma and her sister Marla during various Lafontaine family gatherings and our childhood growing up together in rural Alberta. These memories of Wilma were recalled when we saw her photo and obituary in the October 26th, 2019 issue of the Ottawa Citizen newspaper Obituary pages. The image of Wilma's joyous smile and laughter in that photo were immediately recognized as characturistic of her personality and warm demeanor.
We are sure that all her immediate family members, and her many friends and neighbors will also miss and remember Wilma.
Laverne "Vern" and Kathleen "Kathy" Amunds
