Obituary of Daniel Paul Reid

Surrounded by family, Dan passed away at Providence Care Hospital on December 8th, 2019, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Dan leaves behind his wife of 31 years, Kathryn ‘Kate’ (Hagerman) and wonderful sons, Mitchell (Molly Cote) and Tyler. Loving brother of Ronald Reid (Joanne) and Thomas Reid (Brandy) and uncle to Bailey Reid. Nephew of Sharon Reid (Dave Marriott) and William Amell and cousin of Gary Reid (Deb Rieger). Lovingly remembered by his mother-in-law Barbara Hagerman and family. Predeceased by his father David, his mother Catherine, step-father Garfield, older brother David and father-in-law Earl. Deeply missed by many relatives in Watertown, NY and Bath, ON. Dan was a proud and dedicated PSW at the John M. Parrott Centre in Napanee. He will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends at the Paul G. Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373) on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 6-8 pm. A Graveside Service will be held at Bath United Church Cemetery on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the John M. Parrott Centre or UHKF (Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario) would be appreciated by the family.
