Obituary of Robert (Bob) Elliott
Peacefully at home after a lengthy illness, Robert Everett Elliott has gone Home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, January 14, 2020. Predeceased by loving parents Errett and Carmel (Corcoran) Elliott. Beloved husband of Linda (nee Joyner) and dear father of sons Brent (Alexe) and Marty (Tracy). Beloved grandfather of Hannah and Pierce. Loved and missed by special sister-in-law and guardian angel Fern Elaine Joyner. Dear brother of Terry (Jean), Allan (Laurie), Marsha (Neil Eaton), Charmayne (Mervyn Hartley), Jerry (Sue) and special sister Marlene. Survived by daughter Martha (David) Spike and their children Kayla and Dawson. Also survived by a large extended family, aunts Glenna and Elva, nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
Thank you to everyone who helped Bob stay happy and comfortable in his home; Providence Care Outreach Program staff and PSWs, Dr. Carl Lee, CCAC, especially Tina and staff, PSW Brittany from Paramed, CBI nurses Aiden, Mieka and Theresa, Medigas, and other healthcare providers. Special thanks to the friends and family who supported Bob through his difficult journey with phone calls and visits. You brightened his days and made his life a little easier. He loved you all. Also thanks to those who continue to support us. He was deeply loved and will be missed by many.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church (3977 Sydenham Road, Railton) on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 11 am. A reception will follow in the church hall. Spring Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Odessa.
