Obituary of Steven Carl Wilson

With profound sadness, Steven’s family announce his sudden passing on Monday, February 24, 2020 at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KGH) with his constant companion Loretta by his side following a brief but courageous battle with cancer, at age 55. Beloved husband and best friend of Loretta (nee Hutchings). Proud and loving father of Eric (Danni), Samantha (Jason), Sydnee and Amber ‘Gwen’ and step-father of Josh (Breanne) and Amy (Brian). Extremely proud Poppa of Blaine, Vivian, Lauren, Haley, Lawlor, Elijah, Hannah and Elliot. Dear son of Dorothy (nee Doupe) and the late Carl Wilson and caring brother of Lorrie (Chris Derzekos), Shelley (Scott Asselstine) and Tammy (Pete Prue). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law, aunts and uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Steven will be held at the Paul G. Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373) on Sunday, March 1, 2020 from 1-4 pm. Spring interment at Reidville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to UHKF (KGH Pediatric Oncology) would be appreciated in his memory.
