To Patsy and family...So sorry to hear of Raymond's passing. We were childhood friends when you lived on Churchill Drive (now St. Michaels Ave.) in Spryfield, NS. We were the Hennebury family who lived across the street from you. Not sure you would remember us. I often wondered where you were, etc. I am attempting to upload a picture. Hope it works.... You and Raymond in the window and Bride, Dora (me) and Phil. Condolences to all the family.....Dora Hennebury Phillips

So sorry to hear of Raymond's passing. I have known him and his family all my life. His family welcomed our family with open arms and loving hearts. Growing up in a big family myself, I would wander down the road to be spoiled by Raymond, Patsy, and his wonderful parents, Foster and Weesie. My mother always knew where to find me when I went missing. I am sure Weesie and Foster are welcoming you home with loving arms. Rest in peace.

Although we have only being neighbors for a short time we will always remember the day that Raymond decided we needed a new Dog which we found tied on our Deck it was the wrong size and breed of the Dogs that we have, this showed his thoughtfulness and community spirit he thought one of ours had escaped. Our thoughts are with you Grace during this difficult time.

Dear Grace and Family
What a sad time for your Family. Ray was such a Great Guy, we had a good visit last time we spoke, while we listen to Steve Cheesman and The Heaters at Adolphustown Park last summer. I really got to know Raymond better when I worked for Him and his Dad back in 1974/75. I can remember Bill Matthews trying to get Raymond to swear, and the best we got was...And I quote....
"Cotton Pickin wrench is gone". We never heard a bad word or thought come from Raymond and there should have been lots with the bunch of hooligans that worked there including me. There was never a dull moment and a lot of laughs.
I dearly hope that all your fond memories will help sooth your pain, and that time will heal the sorrow.
RIP Raymond... you have done well.
Sincerely Yours
Jackie & Byron Benest
