Please share a memory of Rose to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with overwhelming sadness the family of Rose Marie Blaind (nee Latour) announces her sudden passing, due to an aneurysm, at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KGH), on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at the age of 61. Beloved and devoted wife of Peter Blaind and loving mother of Nick (Aleesha) and Jake (Courtney). Proud grandmother of Jaxson, Jayden and Logan. Dear daughter of Joan and the late Raoul Latour and cherished sister of Jayne Wilson (Bob), Marilyn Ruttan (Randy), David (Linda), Paul (Shannon), Tom (Diana), Joe (Shirley) and Susan (Randy Hallett). Lovingly remembered by her father-in-law Barry Blaind and predeceased by her mother-in-law Betty. Also fondly remembered by her sisters and brothers-in-law Janice (Ken Mikel), Brenda (Keith Hope), Rebecca Dameren and Lisa (Randy Hennessy). Rose will lovingly be remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, their families and her beloved dog Tubby.

Rose was a strong, loving, caring and generous individual who was always proud of her Indigenous heritage. She enjoyed her work as a medical technician at both Belleville and Trenton hospitals. She was an avid gardener, one of the many hobbies she loved.

Rose was a “Tiny flower lent not given. To bud on earth and bloom in Heaven”.

Cremation has taken place. The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Paul G. Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373). Please share your memories and condolences to the family at www.paynefuneralhome.com
