Obituary of Peter David Chidgey

Passed away peacefully at home in Yarker surrounded by his loving family on Friday, September 4, 2020. Peter was born on August 26, 1945 in Somerset, England. Son of the late Thomas and Frances Chidgey. Beloved husband of 50 years to Kathleen (nee Standerwick). Loving father to Shawn Chidgey and Jennifer Thibault and adored grandfather to Lucas & Chase Chidgey (their mother Iryna Yavorska), and Liam & Logan Thibault (their father Jason Thibault). Lovingly remembered by Tracey & Neil and family and by his extended family and many friends in Canada and England.

Peter had a successful career as a stone mason. He enjoyed reading, gardening, photography and animals. He loved his family dearly and his kind and caring nature will never be forgotten. A private family Funeral Service will be held at the Paul G. Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa with interment following at Moscow Cemetery. For those desiring, memorial donations to the Canadian Wildlife Federation would be appreciated.
