Obituary of Jane Paudyn (Romer)

Jane Yvette Paudyn passed peacefully on Monday, September 28, 2020, in her 91^st year. Dear mother of Richard (Magret) Paudyn of Yarker and Barbara (John) Baronaitis of Florida. Loving and proud grandmother to Krysta (Richard), Ricky, Paul, Alexandria, Katrina, Jennifer and Michael and great grandmother to Elora.

Mom was a WWII refugee. She came to Canada and married our father Richard who was also a WWII refugee. They became most passionate Canadians and Torontonians and cottagers of Go Home Lake. A Bell Canada retiree and a proud volunteer in several churches, hospitals and elections, including municipal, provincial and national. Fluent in Polish, French, German and English, a gifted artist of hand crafts, knitting, crocheting and sewing, an elegant hostess and champion bridge player. She will be greatly missed. Many thanks to the staff at Trillium Long Term Care for their kindness and care over the past two years.
