Obituary of Jennie Tyner-Graham (Laraby)

Passed away peacefully at Extendicare in Kingston with her daughter Laura and granddaughter Kalista by her side on Sunday, January 3, 2021, in her 99^th year. Predeceased by her husbands Walter Dempsey, Hugh Tyner and Edmund Graham and by her children Henry Dempsey (late Rose), David Dempsey and Helen Reid (late Fraser).

 

Loving mother of Laura Tyner-Clement (John) and cherished grandmother of Kalista Clement, Amanda Clement-Young (Alex), Michael Dempsey, Thomas Dempsey and Kathleen Eves. Also lovingly remembered by her many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Survived by her sister Doris Shelley (late Bill) and predeceased by her siblings Tom Laraby (Louise), Helen Shelley (late Sam), Nellie Babcock (late Norman), Norman Laraby, Beatrice Jean Laraby and Clarence Arthur Laraby.

 

A private family Funeral Service will be held at the Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373) on Friday, January 8, 2021. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Yarker. A Celebration of Jennie’s Life will be held at a later date when it is possible for family and friends to gather safely. For those desiring, memorial donations to the Salvation Army or Gideon Bible Society would be appreciated.
