We were very sorry to hear of Gwyn’s passing. He was a lovely man, gentle and kind, and he will be very much missed. To us, Gwyn was a beloved family man, a loyal friend, and a fine rugby-player, appreciated for his good humour and friendship.
Our heartfelt sympathies go out to Susan and Robert. Tara Lee and all the family.
Thinking of you,
Brian and Ann

We met Gwyn in Kingston in the late sixties and were relieved to find he had not changed from the character we knew and loved a decade earlier. We were at Swansea College, University of Wales and 'Becket' as he was nick named then, was an asset to any social gathering. Great humour and love of rugby and song, Gwyn remained proudly Welsh and a very gentle man.

To Tara-Lee and to Gwyn's family.
I just read about Gwyn'd death in the paper. I knew Gwyn through my parents Edgar and Margaret Barnett as did Linda Jones through hers...our parents and Gwyn got together often and good times were had with them all together.
Representing the Barnett family I am so sorry for your loss and the difficulties this time is putting upon you all.
My condolences. Carolyn

To all of Gwyn’s surviving family:
I just read about Gwyn’s death in today’s local paper. I am Lynn and Dolly Jones’s daughter and through my parents remember Gwyn and Mair well, and then Tara-Lee. Having lost touch with a lot of my parents’ friends I am sorry to say I did not know Gwyn was ill because if possible I would’ve visited in memory of a wonderful friendship shared between your family and mine. I still grieve my parents, now gone eight years and four years. But the memories I shared with them of those years with their Welsh-Canadian friends in Kingston such as Gwyn live on.
In loving memory,
Linda Jones

Sorry to hear of the loss of Gwyn. Fond memories of our coaching soccer days. One in particular, he was a little critical of the refereeing. The referee asked him if he would like to take the whistle, Of course, Gwyn agreed and finished the match!!
He will be missed.

Sorry Susan, Robert and families to learn of Gwynn's passing.
He and I had many happy days golfing . We were never at a loss of chat ! At St. Lawrence College we drank a "swimming pool of coffee" ! He was always amazed how hot I could drink my coffee. I was finished before he started his !. He was also a welcome guest at house parties we held.
