Obituary of Richard James Law

Rick passed away peacefully at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KGH) on Monday, March 1, 2021, following a brief illness. Cherished partner and best friend of Marjorie Babcock. Loving father of Stephanie and proud grandfather of Maya. Rick will be greatly missed by his canine companion Sky Dancer. Fondly remembered by his sisters and brothers in Windsor, his brother-in-law Pat Babcock, his extended family and many friends. Predeceased by his mother Yvonne McCallum.

 

Rick was a man of many talents. When he had a vision he would always follow through. He took great pride in restoring classic cars as well as collecting and restoring many other things. He was a talented artist that could create just about anything. Some of these creations can be spotted around the country side. One of his greatest achievements was turning his beloved property into the “The Godfrey Social Club”, a welcoming place for locals and tourists, a place for refreshments, fellowship and most importantly, friendship. He will be greatly missed.

 

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date. In memory of Rick, memorial donations to the Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
