Obituary of Julia Marie Guenter (Braun)

Julia passed away peacefully at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KGH) on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Beloved wife of Dan for 55 years. Devoted mother to Kevin and Keith (Pam). Also sadly missed and dearly loved by her honourary daughter Vickie. Loving grandmother to Katrina, Devin, Rea, Josh, Courtney, Jamie and Alexis and caring great grandmother to Breyson and Karsen. Survived by her sister Margaret Bergen (Bob). Julia is predeceased by her parents David and Hilda Braun and sister Karol Rudolph (Jim). Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, many cousins and extended family. Her love and kindness will be missed by her many friends of all ages and locations. She will be dearly missed.

The family will receive friends at the Paul G. Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main Street, Odessa on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 1-3 pm. Friends of the family are asked to please call the funeral home (613-386-7373) or email (pgpaynefh@cogeco.ca) to reserve a time to see the family on Tuesday. Covid protocols will be in effect with face masks required at all times and physical distancing rules applying. A private family Funeral Service will be held with cremation following. Julia’s Service can be viewed live on the Funeral Home facebook page on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 starting at 1 pm.
