Obituary of James Ackerman

Jim passed away suddenly at the Village Green Nursing Home in Selby on Friday, May 28, 2021, in his 73^rd year. Beloved husband of Doreen (nee Mills) for 43 years. Loving father of Janice Lloyd (Cory), Rose Fraser (Jeff Conway), Jennie Ackerman, Clair Ackerman (Karen) and Geri Reid (Robert Lewis). Sadly missed by his 19 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Dear brother of Barbara McFadden (late Bart) and Martha Ramsay (Carl). Predeceased by his parents Gwendoline and Joseph Ackerman, his brother Charles Ackerman and sister Lois Hancock (late Earl). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families.

A private family visitation will be held at the Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main Street, Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373) with Interment following at St. Luke’s Cemetery in Camden East. For those desiring, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be remembered with appreciation by the family.
