Joanne and I met in 2002, when my daughter Kate and her son, Andy began seriously dating. She went on to graciously accept Kate into her home and family. Eventually she became my daughter's mother-in-law, the other Grandma to my grandchilren, and my friend. All of those titles she carried out with grace, wisdom and humor. One hears all kinds of Mother-in-law stories, but my daughter got the best one ever. She will be missed. I will miss her.

So sad to hear of Joanne's passing. I went to school with Louise and got to know Joanne initially while working at Prince Charles School and then later in the Bath Tops group. I really enjoyed Joanne's sense of humor and down to earth thinking. She was a strong member in our group and will be greatly missed. Again so sorry to hear about your mom Louise!
