Obituary of John Johnston

Peacefully at Providence Care Hospital in Kingston on Thursday, August 5, 2021, in his 74^th year. Cherished and loving father of Micheline Johnston (Christian Michaud) of Kingston and John Johnston (Ashley) of Oshawa. Fondly remembered by their mother Lynda McGlynn. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Chelsea, Jacob, Jesse, Liam and Max. Dear brother of Sandra Johnston and uncle of Rob and Sharon Bankosky. John was predeceased by his parents Cecil and Doris Johnston. He will be fondly remembered by his many friends and family in and around the Kingston area.

The family will receive friends at the Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373) on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 6-8 pm. A Graveside Service will be held at Cataraqui Cemetery on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 1:30 pm. All guests are asked to please confirm their attendance for the Graveside Service by clicking the RSVP tab under the Graveside Service information.

The family would like to thank all of the Doctors, Nurses and staff in the Palliative Care Units at both KGH and Providence Care for their compassionate care provided to John over the last few months.
