Obituary of Clara Young (Hogeboom)

Clara passed away peacefully at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital in Napanee on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 following a brief illness, at the age of 101. Predeceased by her beloved husband Norman Young. Dear and loving mother of Cameron (June) of Carleton Place and Leslie (Elaine) of Belleville. Cherished grandmother of Mark (Tammy), Shauna (the late Phil), Craig (Sonya), Brent (Krista), Melanie (James) and Heidi. Also greatly missed by her 19 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by her brother George Hogeboom, her sisters Alice Turnbull and Leona Marlow, and many nieces and nephews and their families.

The family will receive friends at the Odessa Free Methodist Church, 78 Main Street, Odessa on Monday, October 4, 2021 from 1:30 – 2:30 pm. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:30 pm. Interment at Morven Cemetery. For those desiring, memorial donations to Odessa Free Methodist Church or Belleville Centennial Free Methodist Church would be appreciated.
