Obituary of Elmer George Jordan
Elmer passed away at the Helen Henderson Care Centre in Amherstview on Sunday, June 26, 2022, in his 84th year. Dear and loving husband of Rose (nee Wells) of Bath. Cherished father of Gary Jordan (Teresa) of Peterborough, Rosalind Jordan of Tamworth, and the late Darryl Jordan. Proud grandfather of Sarah, Stephen, David, Amanda, Brittney and Aaron. Also missed by his 3 great grandchildren. Elmer is survived by his brother Fred and is predeceased by his brother Lorne.
Elmer was a proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces. His career enabled him and his family to see many beautiful places throughout Canada. He also worked on the DEW line for 13 years. Elmer was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing, especially in Northern Ontario. Cruising around on his motorcycle also brought him much joy. He will be greatly missed.
Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be held in Fenelon Falls at a later date. For those desiring, memorial donations to Parkinson Canada would be appreciated.
