We are sincerely saddened by the passing of Nancy. She was always so kind to our family and especially generous with Emma and Rachel. She was able to spark an interest in antiques, in two young girls, who still covet the many treasures she gifted to them. May your happy memories of shared laughter, take you all through your saddest days. Our deepest condolences to Steve, Janice, Dale, Connor and Devin.

I connect Nancy B and her love of music with songs that mark our lives… A song for Steve,Janice,Dale,Conor and Devin (from a song of Nancy’s beloved Maritimes): “We look to our sons and daughters to explain our lives…We rise again in the faces of our children, we rise again in the voices of our songs.” … A song for me and her close friends (from the musical Wicked): “ You’ll be with me like a handprint on my heart…Who can say if I’ve been changed for the better? I do believe I have been changed for the better. And because I knew you, I have been changed for good.” …Nancy was a mentor for me as a brand new teacher, a friend, a cheerleader when I changed professions and a kindred spirit through the 47 years of laughing and crying through life’s ups and downs. She taught me that friends can become sisters. She also taught me to play canasta, but never let me win a game…A song for Nancy (from her heartthrob Willie Nelson): “ On the road again, just can’t wait to get on the road again…goin’ places that I’ve never been, and I can’t wait to get on the road again.” Happy roads,Nancy. I miss you.
