MINARD: Carol Joan
With great sadness, but with deep gratitude for her amazing courage, dedication, love and support, we announce the passing of Carol Joan Minard. Peacefully at Kingston General Hospital in the company of her family, Friday, September 12th, 2014 at the age of 71. Beloved wife of Thomas W. Minard and loving mother of Yvonne & Mike Young, Kim Minard, Thomas (Bill) & Angela Minard, Lois Jason Bulch. Extremely proud grandmother to Tom, John, Stevi, Krystal, Ryan and Alexander & great grandmother of Liam. Predeceased by grandson Joseph. Adopted mom to many. Cherished daughter of the late Don and Verna Burtch and loving sister to Ron Burtch, John Burtch, Liz and Martin Oomen, Peter and Melanie Burtch. Predeceased by her sister Donna Gillies. The family will receive friends at the PAUL G. PAYNE FUNERAL HOME, Main St., Odessa 613-386-7373 on Thursday, September 18th from 11am to 1pm with a celebration of her life following at 1pm. As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to either VON Smiles Program or KGH Emergency(U.H.K.F.) Thank you to the Emergency Team at KGH with a special thank you to Dr. Sivilotti and nurses Nora and Gail.
