Obituary of Mary Shetler (VanAlstine)

Mary passed away peacefully at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital in Napanee following a brief illness on Friday, August 12, 2022, at the age of 90.  Predeceased by her beloved husband Gordon Shelter, her daughter Pamela Chalmers and son-in-law Delmer Carroll. Lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her son Gary (Heather), her daughters Jane (Greg) and Nancy (John), her son-in-law Douglas Law and grandchildren Angela (Gord), Drew (Felicia), Lindsay (Clayton), Nicholas (Carrie-Lee) Courtney (Derek), Jacob (Leighann) and Thomas (Kayla). Also missed by her great grandchildren Chloe, Tanner, Talon, Dawson, Oliver and Isabella. Fondly remembered by her extended family.

The family will receive friends at Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa Ontario K0H2H0 (613-386-7373) on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 10:30 – 12:00 pm. A Graveside Service will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Dundas St. W., Napanee at 12:30 pm. For those desiring, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
