Obituary of Alexander McDougall

Alexander "Bud" McDougall passed away peacefully at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, in his 93^rd year. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee McDonald) for 62 years. Dear father of Karen Martineau (Peter) and Steven McDougall (Laurie). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Rick (Jessica), Alyssa (Chris), Scott, Jason, Zack (Katie) and Jake (Summer) and great grandsons Cameron and Nolan. Predeceased by his brother Norman McDougall (Carol) and sister Margaret Mathieu (late George). Brother-in-law of Helen McCormick (late Allan) and Jim McDonald (Bonnie) and fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families.

The family will receive friends at Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373) on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 2–4 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Blessed Sacrament, 3 Briscoe St., Amherstview on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 12:30 pm. Spring Interment will be held in Alexandria, Ontario.

The family would like to thank all the Doctors, Nurses and staff at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre, especially Connell 3, for the compassionate care and kindness shown to Alexander and family.
