After a brief illness, Ian passed away peacefully at the Helen Henderson Care Centre. He was predeceased by his much loved companion Jeannette ‘Jan’ Labossiere and her daughter Debbie. Ian is survived by his son Hugh Bathgate, daughters Leanna Olesaack, Debbie McMillan and Lori Blackwell. He was also a loved Pop to Jan’s children, Gloria Todd (Jim) and Lenny Labossiere, and their children.

 

As per Ian’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family Burial will be held. Many thanks to the loyal staff at Helen Henderson Care Centre. Arrangements entrusted to Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373).
