Guy and I wanted to send our heartfelt condolences to the Gray Family. Though never physically meeting Lynda we spoke, many hours over the phone and she had a way of making you feel like Family. With our sons being the best of friends, started a special bond between us, We were both looking forward to finally sitting down together this summer and having a drink together. I am sad that we didn't get that chance. I will forever be grateful for the special friendship we had. Lynda was a very special person and will be sadly missed,
We are sending our love and deepest sympathies to all of you! xo

Lynda and Ev were the nicest neighbours when we lived next door to them in Violet in the mid 80s. We’ve stayed in touch over the years with Christmas cards as our lives took us all over the country.
We were so sorry to learn from Denise that her mom had passed away. Lynda was just a wonderful person.
With sincerest sympathy,
Katy Hennessy and Oliver Probert

My sympathies to family and friends.I worked with Lynda for many years at our local hospital.A caring and gentle soul. She secretly left a stuffed black dog for my sister in law and coworker some 20 years ago when she was dying of cancer.I have it still .Lynda and I waited at KGH not so patiently for an Aortic Valve replacement .We had many good visits. She was positive and hopeful for improved health.Unfortunatly she continued to struggle. We never had our glass of wine together ,before or after surgery.RIP my friend .Enjoy catching up with old friends and loved ones.If they serve the odd drink where you are enjoy.!!!I have raised the odd toast to you and will continue ,in moderation of course.God Bless With hugs Bev Martin

I was a neighbor and friend of Lynda and Ev for about 50 yrs. We moved next door to them in Violet and played cards, had supper and many visits. Peter and Denise were toddlers then and I remember Peter's first day in school, he was so cute. Denise was always trying to get into her mother's lap, she was adorable. When we moved, we remained friends. Always a bday wish, phone calls and visits. I will miss her but also hope she is with Ev and friends.
Bye Lynda, until we meet again.

My heartfelt condolences go to the Gray Family and friends. She was a beautiful lady who always had a friendly smile and a witty saying when we would bring her eggs from Tweed. She's up there having a tea with Ronda.

Lynda was our neighbour for more than 40 years. She was always there - sitting on the porch, ready for a chat. In our younger days, she would convince me to go to aquafit in Amherstview, aerobics in Bath, senior's exercises in Napanee, and Tai Chi somewhere else...to name a few. She had me walking up the road and dressing up in crazy Halloween outfits! And somehow, even though my legs were twice as long as hers, she could always walk faster. When Ted's sister passed away suddenly, she came with food. She had a big country heart. I was hoping this day wouldn't come. I'm going to miss her - a lot. She's really not gone, as long as we remember her. Love Irene and Ted Casey

I am lucky to have shared many laughs with my mother in law. Spent many nights at the cottage and was able to travel to Newfoundland with her. I will cherish the memories…

Lynda was my Mom, Ronda Deutekom's Best Friend for about forty years.
They were also co-workers at Napanee Hospital for many years.
Daily they chatted on the phone for many of these years and the last ten, several times a day.
They grew old together which is about the hardest thing one can do.
I still recall during my last visit with Lynda, in May, her mentioning how much she missed their phone calls.
Well, now they are catching up and Lynda is enjoying seeing all the Precious Souls that left before her ! Including her beloved parents and wonderful husband, Everett.
I feel great Joy and peace that Lynda is finally at Peace and Re-united with all that went before her !!
I feel great sadness for Peter and Denise because I know that losing a Mom and Best Friend is about as hard as it gets.
Denise, please know that I am here for you !
Xx

Aunt Lynda was a generous woman and she inspired me with her “get up and go” attitude. You will be missed, dearest Lynda.
