Obituary of Marjorie Ann Grant-Hart

The children of Marjorie (Marge) Grant-Hart (nee Smith) are broken hearted to announce the passing of their mother on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.

 

She is survived by her daughters, Kim Abrams (Sean Fleming), Shelley Simpson (Steve) and her son Dwayne Grant (MariAnne Running). Marge is also survived by her grandchildren Stephanie Corcoran (Luke), Adam Fleming, Scott Simpson (Colleen Revell), Brittany Fraser (Joey Balesdent) and Myles Fraser. “GG” is survived by her great grandchildren Josephine and Henry Corcoran.

 

Predeceased by her husband Charles Hart and her parents Elmer and Jean Smith (Garrison). Marge is also predeceased by siblings Val Ruttan, Doug Smith, Bill Smith, Marion Morrison, Elizabeth Cubitt and brother-in-law Gerald Ruttan. She is survived by her brothers Jack, Lorne, Gary (Susan) and Fred and sister-in-laws Dianna Smith and Betty Smith, as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373) on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 between the hours of 6pm and 8pm. Interment will be held at the Moscow Cemetery, 3680 County Rd 6, Yarker, ON K0K 3N0 at a later date. Marjorie will be interred at the foot of her grandfather, Manford Garrison's grave, a man whom she loved dearly.
