Obituary of Evelyn Stevens (Jaques)

Passed away peacefully at Trillium Retirement Care on Saturday, September 9, 2023, in her 95^th year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Stevens for 67 years. Loving mother of the late Lynn Stevens, the late Wesley Stevens (Claudine), Louise Wadsworth (Cameron), Brian Stevens and John Cameron Stevens. Cherished grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 6. Survived by her brother Wray Jaques (Miche) and sister-in-law Doreen Showers. Predeceased by her brothers Fred and Ralph Jaques. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and their families.

 

Interment at St. George’s on the Hill Cemetery (Islington, Toronto). A Celebration of Evelyn’s Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373).
