Anita’s smile always made me feel welcomed when I first joined RARC at Queen’s. We had great fun talking about spiritual beliefs, food (she introduced me to the puff ball and Jerusalem artichokes), her time on the farm, and of course her kids and grandkids. Family and friends were everything to her and she gave of herself whenever she could. She loved to teach and share and bring kindness to others. I was so blessed to know her.
I wish her family love and peace as they move forward without her physical presence. She was so proud and loved them all fiercely.

It’s been 50 years since we’ve been in touch but I wanted to reach out to the whole family and let you know how sad Louise and I were to hear of Anita’s passing. All those fond and happy memories early in our lives are always something that will remain.
My sincere sympathy to all Pennell families. Anita and I were classmates many years ago along with her other siblings. Anita was such a nice friendly lady such a happy smile. Thoughts and prayers with you all.
