Obituary of Nick Whitty

Nicholas Johnston “Nick” Whitty in his 86^th year, passed peacefully at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital in Napanee on Saturday, November 25, 2023 with his family by his side. Loving husband of Elaine Whitty (née Milligan) for 39 years. Loving and precious father of Lori (John Smith) and Heather (Steve Peonidis). Cherished poppa/grandpa of Brieanne & Alex Smith and Nicolas, Christopher, Braeden & Jacob Peonidis. Survived by his siblings Ray and Doreen Whitty. Fondly remembered by the Milligan family and by several nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Richard and Hazel Whitty, and granddaughter Emily Smith.

Nick was a retired dairy farmer and former Dupont employee. He cherished his farm and beef cattle and was a hard worker his entire life. Nick will be remembered and missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends will be received at Payne Funeral Home in Odessa on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 3-6 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 11 am. Interment will be held at a later date.
