To Dear Uncle Roy, Monika, Vernon, and families.
We were so sad to hear of the passing of dear Doris. We have many happy memories of family get togethers and of private visits where we were always so warmly welcomed. Although we are at a distance we still enjoy our phone conversations with Roy and will sadly miss Doris. Please know that our thoughts and prayers will be with you all during this difficult time.

My sincere condolences to Roy, Monika, Vernon and their families
I always think of Doris as a wonderful woman ahead of her time
We lived next door to Roy and Doris for a year. When I look back, they taught us more about life and ministry than at any other period of time.
Doris’s generosity of spirit, snd hospitality enveloped me with love
Doris’s courage, and her faithful commitment to God, was a true inspiration Her willingness to go to where, at the time, to what must have seemed the ends of the earth was remarkable..
Doris twinkle, sense of humour and world view gave her perspective, and the ability not to major on the trivial or petty issues
Doris lived her life well I will never forget her impact on mine

As a young seminary student I was placed at Odessa FM Church for my placement. Roy and Doris were the pastoral couple. Many times she would have our family with 4 young children in for a meal, give a word of encouragement and some wisdom. Her smile was infectious. Their care of us during that time was greatly used of God in our lives and won’t be forgotten. Ken & Linda Roth
