Went to be with her Lord and Saviour, peacefully at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of Rev. Roy Kenny for 71years. Dear and loving mother of Monica Anger (Tom) and Vernon Kenny (Anne). Cherished grandmother of Jeremy, Stephanie (Jason), Natalie, Melissa (Barry) and great grandmother of Ainsley, Olivia, Felicity, Hailey and Lily. Survived by her sisters Iva Schultz (Elmer) and June Craig (late Tom) and her brother Elwood Craig (Gladys). Predeceased by her brother Eldon Craig (Frances). Loved and missed by many nieces and nephews. Doris graduated as an RN (OCH 1953). She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, missionary, and friend to many. She will be greatly missed.

 

The family will receive friends at Kingston West Free Methodist Church (1575 Woodbine Road, Kingston) on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 11 – 1 pm. Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm. A private family Graveside Service will be held in the spring.

 

For those desiring, memorial donations to the International Child Care Ministries - www.childcareministries.net would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Payne Funeral Home in Odessa.
