I was so sad to hear of John’s passing. We go a very long way back. John had a great sense of humour. We shared many motorcycle rides as well as a few beverages together.
I shall miss him.

I am so sorry for you loss. I met John at the Duke of Kingston pub in the late 1980's and were friend up until his move to Odessa (meaning I just didn't see him). We had many laughs, lots of talks. Cheers John.
I am enclosing a photo from perhaps the early 2000's. I think this was taken at the Epicure, now gone, on Princess and Clergy. John, Henry, Ed Gardiner and Rob Lacey. I can't recall the name of the man in the background.

Oh Uncle John, you are more loved than you could possibly know....I have always loved you. I remember when you first came to Canada and my Daddy brought you home to our house. You were always so kind and loving to us. I remember going with you to your new home in the next square to us. I went to see you everyday to help you get your home ready for Aunty Joan , Johnny and Angela. We cleaned that little house till it was spotless. It was a wonderful exciting time! We all spent so much lovely time together, sledding , skating and ski-dooing in the winter and summers at the different beaches around the Kingston area. You were all such wonderful parents to us all. We were so lucky to have you all in our lives.... I hope you are up in heaven with your lovely Mum and Dad my Daddy and brother Jerry and all the wonderful family and friends we have lost along the way. Please give my Daddy and our Jerry my love.
I hope you are all having a nice cold beer and a great old visit. Someday we will all be together again sharing stories and having fun, until then I will remember you in my heart and in my prayers. Look after Angela her family and Johnny as they learn to navigate the rest of their lives without your presence, and hold them as they grieve you. Look after Aunty Joan as well please. I will forever love you, till we meet again ❤️
