Please share a memory of Richard A. "Rick" to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Passed away peacefully at age 65 at Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 with his sons by his side. He was predeceased by his parents, Adelard and Rose, and his cherished daughter, Cindy.  He is survived by his sons and their families:  Jamie and Nikki, granddaughters Everlee and Lennon; Lee and Elizabeth, grandsons Easton and Kingsley. As a devoted Papa/Pepere, he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Richard was an avid Habs fan with a great sense of humour. His favourite activity was to “throw the canoe in the lake” at Floating Bridge. He loved his job as a Kingston City bus driver where he worked for 38 years. A genuine man, he enjoyed his regular riders as well as meeting visitors and new residents to the city. As per his wishes, no service will be held. Memorial donations to Kingston Youth Diversion would be appreciated. Thank you to Drs. Hammad, Ostic, Kain, Milne, Yu, Robinson and the staff at the Kingston Cancer Centre. “He was very nice.” Arrangements entrusted to the Paul G. Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main Street, Odessa, Ontario. (613-386-7373). Please share your memories and condolences to the family at www.paynefuneralhome.com
