Cherry's death profoundly saddens me. When we were young, the Allens were family friends. I visited Foot Flats Farm with my children. She was an an amazing person who brought joy to many.

Cherry will always be remembered fondly by our family.
Even though we were only renters of her properties, she treated us like friends. I will never forget her and Mark showing us and the kids the sheep farm one year and the baby sheep another, and her warm welcomes throughout all the years. She touched so many lives without even probably knowing it and she will be missed by many.
