Love, hugs and prayers to all the family, we are so sorry for your loss but also have good memories of your mom and the family as we grew up close and even went to high school with some of the family. When my mom, Dapheen Hawley left Ernestown High School as the only cook and went to work at Lenadaco your mom and Clara were the next home cooks to take over but by then I had graduated so didn't get to enjoy their work at EHS but heard lots of good stories. Your mom lived a good, long, Christian life and although she will be missed here on earth, she will be welcomed and celebrating with all her family and friends gone on before. Eldon and Norah Curl, (nee Hawley)

We are sorry to hear of Mrs. Hunter's passing...I got to know Mrs. Hunter when I went to Ernestown High School, she was in charge of the cafeteria with a lovely bunch of ladies.....Bless them all......Mrs. Hunter and her gang made the best french fries with gravy, if you went to EHS you will remember Mrs. Hunter's Fries, they would put McDonalds fries to shame. She always made sure that Clary Giddy and I had something to eat at lunch. Thank You Mrs. Hunter for caring.
Another thing was at the Odessa Fair back in the day she would clean up most of the prizes in the Cow Palace exhibits. My chocolate brownies never stood a chance, and they were made with real chocolate.
Our condolences to all her Family and Thanks Mrs. Hunter for the good memories at EHS

My sympathies and prayers to Mildred"s family - especially friends and neighbours at the Riverine - Leona, who sits at my table, Alice who goes to exercise classes with us both, and Clara, a remarkable and sweet lady. Also to June Potter who supplied me and my late husband with beautiful flowers in hanging baskets, tubs and annuals every spring. We never had a failure. Phyllis
