Sending condolences to David and family; I worked with Veronica for 23 years. She was a great mentor at work and in life. We car pooled together and sometimes had adventures along the way. The time we pulled over to take a picture of Christmas ornaments on someone's front yard; 3 characters with their eyes peeking over the snow! It was funny. Until the guy came bursting out of the house to ask what we were doing! I can still hear Veronica laughing!!! She was kind person who went out of her way to console or visit someone in need. I remember when she rode her bike down to visit my Dad when he was ill. My Dad was a quiet man who lost his voice when ALS took it. Veronica walked into the room with a big smile! Forever I will be thankful for that. Veronica was always smiling and had spunk like no other. And she was so brave in her own fight. Heaven has another angel ❤. Pamela Young

Our hearts are broken. Veronica, our dear cousin was a beautiful soul. She was thoughtful, caring, kind and so much fun. The twinkle in her eyes, her ready smile and her contagious laugh could brighten any room she entered. Get togethers or outings were always more entertaining if Veronica was there. Whether we were out on the ATVS, enjoying a trip to the bunny shack or celebrating Christmas at Gramma’s, we knew Veronica would have some entertaining tales to share with us. We all loved to hear her stories about her adventures or a trip she had recently been on. Travelling with Veronica was even more fun and made for some wonderful memories that we will forever treasure. Veronica lived life to the fullest and we feel so fortunate to have been part of it.

Heaven is rejoicing with the most beautiful angel. Veronica lived life to the fullest and loved all who knew her, and we all loved her. She had the most beautiful smile and laugh. One of our fondest memories was a weekend at the hunting camp with Dave and Veronica that may have involved some whiskey for the boys and wine for the girls... and a LUCKY deck of cards!!!! Veronica and I skunked the boys 10-0 in a rousing euchre match. And the more we won, the louder we laughed!!! The next day we had a great 4-wheeling trip. Wonderful time. She spoke so highly of her children and then her Grandchildren . We even got to be rivals when our Grandsons played hockey.

Our deepest condolences to David and all of Veronica’s family. I am so honoured that I had the opportunity to get to know Veronica better over these last 15 years. She had a contagious beautiful smile. I remember how much it meant to my mom that Veronica would take time to visit her at every opportunity when she was recuperating in Belleville hospital.

Sincere condolences to David and family. Veronica was one in a million, so nice, kind, caring and full of love for everyone. Veronica sent me wool socks when I moved to Regina for work. She also reached out to me through Facebook to say hi and enquire how I am doing. I will always remember Veronica's beautiful smile and laugh. Hugs to all.
