Obituary of Veronica Hartman (Hunt)

The world has lost another bright light. Peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on Monday, April 12, 2021 in her 66^th year, Veronica Marie Hartman (nee Hunt) has been called home. She leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of 41 years, David, daughter Leann Gibson (David) and sons Drew (Jade) and Bradley (Amanda). She will be forever remembered and cherished by her grandchildren Jack, Will, Bennett, Ruby, Noah, Emma and Ella. Veronica is predeceased by her parents, Don and Helen Hunt and by her sister-in-law Jane Hunt. She is survived by her siblings Valerie Craigen (Denis), Dan (Tracy), David (Cheryl), Angela (Dana) and Annette (Chris) and by her sisters-in-law Judy Harrison (the late Tom), Susan Gustavel (the late Doug) and Karen Dillon (Ron). She will be also missed by many nieces and nephews and their families.

 

Special thanks to Dr. Cowan, Dr. Gregg and Dr. Ostic, as well as nurses Sarah, Kristy, Wendy, Catarina and June for your care and support over the years.

 

A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Centreville with Interment following at St. Anthony’s Cemetery. Donations to St. Anthony of Padua Church or UHKF (for patient comfort in the Chemotherapy Suite) would be appreciated by the family in memory of Veronica.
