As friend's and neighbour's for 13 years, Doug and I couldn't have asked for a better one! Percy, we will miss you so very much, rest in peace our dear friend. Remembering all of our chats...from the front porch, in the house, and from the back fence. One memory in particular that stands out is the year Doug and I were married, 2014, our photographer was taking photos of me and my girls, he called me over to tell me that I looked so beautiful... You had a heart of gold Percy! You were also so generous letting Doug borrow tools and sharpening his lawnmower blades when needed, always there to lend a hand. We respected you so much as a neighbour and friend, listening to you showed us how much love you had for your whole family.

My brother, my friend, my teacher, my playmate. Percy was so many things for me. Never once did we ever argue, fight or even disagree in the 60 years that he was my big brother. He taught me about car motors. He never once told me to go away no matter how many questions that I asked him. And I asked a lot. Lol Percy always beat me at cribbage, not sure how he was cheating....hahaha. Come to think about it he always won when we played the Atari too. Frost bite was our favorite, that or spider fighter. I'm sure going to miss playing games with him. Percy liked cats, and they loved him. He never had a dog as a child but he did have a cat. He was so proud of his son Steven and loved him more than words can say. It was amazing to watch them together. And then Steven married a beautiful girl named Karlee and he had another person to love. When Clare was born Percy fell in love. He sent pictures and talked about her a lot. Not long ago he was blessed with 2 more girls to love, Michelle and Rosie. His heart was now so full. If you wanted to get a smile out of him all you had to do was mention his granddaughters. I have so many memories of the times that we had together. We didn't get together as much as we would have liked, but I always knew that I could count on him, no matter what. I will miss him always. My life was better because he was in it and my life will be sadder because he is gone.i will never stop loving him.
