I had the pleasure of volunteering with Marjorie at the Morningstar Mission. Marjorie was a kind, gentle woman with a warm smile. Marjorie also took care of our pet parrot when we went on a holiday. We were worried for Marjorie as our parrot Oscar, was not a friendly parrot. The following day Marjorie sent us a text telling us that she and Oscar were buddies. Oscar had climbed down from her cage from another room and went straight away to Marjorie‘s outstretched hand. Everyone that met Marjorie loved her, even not so friendly pets. Marjorie you will be missed. Rest In Peace,

Aunt Margie thank you for all of the memories you have built starting before Corie and I were even born. The thought that my mom has her best friend again brings me to tears. I can see the four of you celebrating in Heaven. We will take care of Corie and keep your memory alive with your grand babies. Rest peacefully Aunt Margie, love Shelley, Chris and the kids.
So sorry to hear about Marjorie. We knew each other at Morningstar Mission. She was one of the kindest people I've ever met. Rest in peace Marjorie.

What an absolutely beautiful picture of Marjorie. Hold her forever dear in your hearts because she was truly a special woman. I can hear her sweet voice in my head as I type this. Marjorie had a heart of gold as was evidenced in all of her volunteer passions. She was humble, kind and generous to anyone she met. Carry her tradition as you move forward with your lives and know that your Mom, grandmother, sister and Aunt made an impact on countless lives during her short time here on earth. Much love.
I was a volunteer with Volunteer Services and Hospice, and meeting Marjorie was a delight. Her energy and enthusiasm were contagious and I continued to be amazed at her volunteer activities. My husband also knew her from the hospital and Morningstar Mission. We were also fortunate that she would share stories of her grandchildren (especially their BMX adventures}. She will be truly missed.
