Obituary of Manuel Donoso

Pastor Manuel Ascanio Donoso passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at the age of 77. Dear and loving husband of Judy (née Tyo). Cherished and proud father of Pamela Harrison (Ken) and Anthony Donoso (Julie), and extremely proud grandfather of Noah, Elliott, Judah, Stella and the late Jason. Lovingly remembered by his sister Bernarda and by many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents José and Juana Donoso and by his brother Hugo.

Manuel was born in Chile, South America. He lived a life of adventure and faith as a true risk taker. As a young man he journeyed from South America through Central America and on to Canada where he settled in the Ottawa Valley. That is where he was called by God to the Ministry. Pastor Manuel was well loved and respected by his colleagues and those he served throughout his years of ministry. He will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Nepean Seventh-day Adventist Church in Barrhaven on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at 2:30 pm. For those desiring, memorial donations to Rock Solid Refuge, P.O.
