SCOUTEN: Bernice Mae
Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Tuesday August 5, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Bernice Scouten (nee: Alton) in her 77th year, beloved wife of Warren for 57 years. Cherished mother to Rick (Eileen); Cindy; Pam; Randy (Susan) and Jamie (Marie). Precious “Nanny” to Beau, Angela, Melissa, Shannon, Colby, Joshua, Darcy, Cory, Brandi, Emma, Roy, Ray, Justin, Suzie, Cheyenne and 8 great grandchildren and 1 expected. Pre-deceased by her granddaughter Tina. Remembered by her one sister Mary McNeil. Pre-deceased by several sisters and brothers. Fondly remembered by all her nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the PAUL. G. PAYNE FUNERAL HOME, 178 Main St., Odessa 613-386-7373 on Friday from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. till service time at 11 a.m. Funeral service in the funeral home with Rev. Alvin Lasher officiating. Interment Violet Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation ( BY Cheque Only) in honour of Bernice’s great granddaughter Ashlee Flood.
